The Marian Messengers is a 501(c)3 apostolate of the Diocese of La Crosse, WI.
Our primary mission is to promote Our Lady of Guadalupe. We are called to rekindle Marian Devotion in the Catholic Church and to confidently share our faith for the salvation of all as a response to the New Evangelization.
Many people today predict the downfall of the Catholic Faith while feeling resentment and fear. While in 1531 all seemed lost, Mary came and directly intervened through the faithfulness of those who loved her. We must band together as brothers and sisters to be faithful Catholics with Mary!
Our Motto is:
“Magnificat anima mea Dominum”
“My Soul Magnifies the Lord”
This is the first line of the first prayer of the Catholic Church spoken by the first disciple, Mary at the Visitation. We are created in God’s image and likeness that we may magnify the love and glory of our Father in Heaven. This dignity given to us is only fully realized when we offer ourselves to another as a gift of love in our vocations.
Mary is the teacher of this humble and simple spirituality of self-offering, total surrender and holy charity. The zeal of the Marian Messengers comes from our living encounters with Mary and Jesus in the Catholic Church. We magnify the mighty deeds God has done. We magnify the trust we have in His will and providence even when the enemy of our salvation seems to be winning. We magnify the truth that we are sons and daughters of our Father. We magnify that the battle has been won and the Mary song of victory still echoes in the Church today! Are you with Her?
