What We Offer
The Marian Messengers seeks to proclaim the theological and spiritual content proclaimed in the apparitions of Our Lady of Guadalupe. St John Paul II proclaimed Our Lady of Guadalupe as the Queen of the Americas. Her message is needed today just as much as it was almost 500 years ago.
The Marian Messengers are rooted in the theological anthropology of the Catholic Personalism of St John Paul II centering on our moral choice both discerned and cooperating with God’s will in human freedom that both reveals and forms us into who we are meant to be. In this way our human dignity as revealed in Christ and our human destiny as sons and daughters of the Father in the Church are more clearly understood. Like St John Paul II the Marian Messengers find great fruit in the Carmelite Spirituality and Marian Devotion of St. John of the Cross.
The Marian Messengers seeks to teach, heal and form future Catholic leaders.
- Teaching – In proclaiming the message of Our Lady of Guadalupe the Marian Messengers provide a very relevant way to understand the Catechism of the Catholic Church and our own human dignity as revealed in Christ. Our Lady of Guadalupe’s message is clearly interpreted in our times by the preaching and teaching of St John Paul II.
- Healing – The desire of Our Lady of Guadalupe is that all her children would find healing from every illness and misery. The greatest of these is the abandonment and loneliness we feel in isolation from God and the family of the Church.
- Forming – The Marian Messengers seeks to aide in the formation of future leadership in the Church. Through the guidance of Mary, St Juan Diego was readied for his mission which led to the conversion of a continent in the darkest of times imaginable. The message of Our Lady of Guadalupe forms us to live an authentic Marian spirituality which also forms us to be more authentically open to participating in God’s will in our lives for the building up of God’s Kingdom in these dynamic and challenging times.
